Answer: For in-person events, we encourage you to dress up in your favorite “Colorado Creative” attire. Some wear a t-shirt, others come much fancier, but almost nobody wears ties. And…there will be photo opportunities.
Our attendees vary in age from young to old, and we’d love to have your family join us. Although the talks are meant for a general audience, we do realize that not every topic may not be found age appropriate for young people depending on your discretion. While that discretion is up to you, no talks are uncomfortably graphic. If anything, we hope all of our talks provide an opportunity for great conversation and dialogue amongst your family!
However, we do record the talks inside the theatre, so we kindly ask that infants do not attend the event.
Yes! We provide a limited amount of space for writing in our programs, but it’s always worth bringing pen and paper for that moment when you hear something that could be life changing!
We have answers! Just shoot us an email at general@tedxmilehigh and expect a response within 24 hours — 48 if it’s the weekend!
When the pandemic hit, TEDxMileHigh pivoted to allow us to share big ideas while ensuring the safety and health of our patrons like you. The virtual conferences are free and are streamed to you at home. The virtual conferences are slightly shorter in length with 8 speakers/presenters. Explore the virtual event program to engage with additional discussions and activities.
Your health and the health of our community remain our top priorities. With this in mind, we are hosting two additional virtual conferences on March 20 and June 26 before hopefully returning to in-person conferences for TEDxMileHigh in late 2021.
If you wish to get a refund, please contact [email protected].
Each talk is filmed and posted on our youtube channel and tedxmilehigh.com approximately six weeks after the event. Subscribe to our channel on youtube https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCSBqhUFsEBGdGCxLo6uKG1w
